Does not matter that I did not receive a single birthday present this year. Or that I didn't even hear from the person that I previously dedicated my life to, and am still deeply in love with.
The biggest gift this year was from myself. And that is the gift of hope, self love, self confidence, and happiness.
You come and leave this earth alone. Just try to do good while you are living, do good for yourself and be proud of each day.
I had to buy myself something. But I bought it for the company instead. A new lens and flash to do better photography of the hostels. Here's fooling around with it in my room..

I made a resolution this year. And that is to straighten out my personal life.
Thanks to a great thoughtful friend Rubin for putting things into perspective for me this October. He said "For all the brilliant business decisions that you make, your personal decisions are horribly wrecked". Then in the same month Twin (whom I only have the time to meet in years) reminded me of how we can control our future by "setting yourself up for the right things". It's like having a good setup before taking a wake jump. Don't leave anything up to chance - even in your personal life.
So i decided to straighten things out this year. No more unforced errors. Do the right thing.
At every single step. Because I believe that I do deserve a shot at happiness now.
